Rm 7:15-25 Addiction! It is a terrible state anyone should find him or her self. Most of the time it always starts with the company you keep. You learn from them that you could do silly things and cover it up with just a small lie. They tell you, pornography-just a bit. Booze and drugs-sure. Girls- why not! Because it is usually hidden, you can’t be corrected- anything left in the dart festers. Like a man carrying hot coal in his pocket, he will soon be set ablaze. To loose control of your life is a horrible state in a man’s life. But the truth is he ignored the vital danger sign on the journey heading to addiction. When a black man sees an addicted friend he would say, who did this to you. But a white man would say, why did you do this to yourself. Some guys can’t just control their sexual urge, they gradually starts thinking they were having fun. They are now prisoners of their indulgence. There is freedom in Christ Jesus. What is that life style that has dragged you on like a dragon to the city assigned for distruction and you ask in your heart how did I get here? Read this passage carefully then we would pray. "I don’t understand myself at all, for I really want to do what is right, but I can’t I do what I don’t want to-what I hate I know perfectly well that what I am dong is wrong, and my bad conscience proves that I agree with these laws I am breaking. But I can’t help myself because I’m no longer doing it. It is sin inside me that is stronger than I am that makes me do these evil things". Now if I am doing what I don’t want to, it is plain where the trouble is: sin still has me in its evil grasp. I love to do God’s will so far as my new nature is concerned; but there is something else deep within me, in my lower nature, that is at war with my mind and wins the fight and makes me a slave to sin. Oh, what a terrible predicament I’ m in! who will free me from my slavery to this deadly lower nature? Thank God! It has been done by Jesus Christ our Lord. He has set me free. Praise the Lord! Alleluia! Let us pray: Lord every sin/habit posing itself as a burden over this reader’s life is lifted, as a snare it is broken and as a siege it is over, in the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Heb 11:24, Jos 1:5,7; 24:15 A girl’s mother came to visit her on campus from the village. She came with as much food stuffs almost above what she could ordinarily carry in a sack bag. With poor detail of her daughter’s description (level, department, etc.), it took her almost three hours to finally locate her. On seeing her from a distance moved briskly toward her smiling ear to ear. This girl standing with her friends introduced her as their house help. Questioning h... Continue reading...

Heb
3:12, 12, 13, Pr 4:23
There are things we talk about once in a year. There are also issues we
talk about monthly and weekly. But if there is anything we have to discuss daily
that must really be a matter of life and death. The advice was, speak to each
other about these things every day while there is still time. An opportunity to
be reading this is the most precious time to hold this warning to your
soul.
Our heart is the control
switch of our entire life. Al... Continue reading...

In every seed there is a tree. The tree bears fruits and the fruit has seed.
Irrespective of how innocent a seed looks it has great potential when planted.
Young man| lady you might not look like the greatness you carry inside of your
bowel. You are like a tiny mustard seed planted in a FIELD. The smallest among
the seeds in your family, school, place of work but can become the largest of
plants, growing into a big tree where birds (fam... Continue reading...

Eccl. 11:9;
12:3-5
I visited an old man (in his nineties) and a voice said to me, that is a
point in the journey of life. And I my thought completed the statement, God
willing no matter how young and active we look; we would come to that point.
Imagine this picture: A shaking arms, weak legs, teeth fallen out and can’t chew
and eyes can’t see clearly. Ears deaf to the noise in the streets, afraid of
heights, while hair, without sexual desire. This must be a man standing a... Continue reading...

I Tm 4:12, 1 Sam
17: 28, 33, Gen 37:2;41:46 I sam 5:4
It is true that the way some young people have
lived in the past is very disappointing. Taking the extremes of shameful
behaviours. The errors in their attitude and actions has placed barriers on the
way youths are rated generally. The society no more believes in the potential
God has deposited in these vibrant vessels. But for the fact that
there are fake dollars doesn’t mean they are no original.
Now is th... Continue reading...

Ps 23:3; Deut 6:5; Job 10:1, Ps
42:5; 19:7
The soul of a man is the power house of all his actions.
Our soul is like a candle stick, it burns itself to produce light. The
brightness of your light is in the quality and quantity of the oil in the lamp
of your soul. As young people our candle has just been lighted. With your stick
still full you have a longer time ahead to burn. The command is let your light
so shine. You have got to put everything in you to be useful. Starting ... Continue reading...

Joshua 5:13; Eccl

Trying to comprehend how time flies these
days, I wonder. In those days as a child from one Xmas to another seem to be
like 730 days apart. But now you can still be relishing the memories of the last
another has come. The way time flies, seasons comes and goes, I will like to
tell you if you sit down and do nothing you only grow old and nothing
significant will come to you. Bring yourself up to speed with the tides of
